AFP-UV1100 is a high viscosity paper UV varnish, is made up with UV-curable epoxy resin,active monomer and photo initiator. It can be cured by ultraviolet ray and form high gloss, high adhesion, slippy surface, and high flexible film. It can be applied by in-line printer, off-line varnish coater, or spot UV coater, widely used for thick or thin, different type of paper it meets the toy security and health standard, and has been certificated by SGS for heavy metal contents.

Appearance:Light yellow to yellow transparent liquid.

Viscosity: 30-45 seconds (paint GB -4 cup, 25° C)

Acid value: < 5mpKOH/g    

Usage recommendation

For off-line coater, if the liquid is too thick or paper is too thin to curl, the liquid can be heated to 40-45° C or diluted by5 ethyl acetate or toluene.

Coating weight normally is 3-5 grams/m2 (by dry weight), which can be adjusted according to paper and other printing materials professional cleaner k-695provided by AFP are suggested for cleaning. It is strongly suggested to use ourUV primers as a complete set.    

Notice

1.For those finished product requiring high flexibility, please choose high flexibility paper

2. Paper or card by coated by UV varnish should keep away from direct sunlight, special long term exposed to sun lights, to avoid yellowing problem

3. Clean up dirt or ink on the bottom of oil tank regularly

4. UV varnish in opened pail should be protected from direct sun light, avoid exposure to strong light for long time

5. Shelf-life under normal atmospheric temperature is 6 months. Use up during its shelf life

7. Because of the varieties of paper, ink and process, customer needs to test the product before put it into using and decides if it is applicable by himself.
