1, drying temperature setting

In the boot printing, we should adjust the drying temperature of each unit based on the types of printing materials, printing speed, graphic area, ink layer, etc

Drying temperature has a great impact on product quality, the temperature is too high will cause shrinkage of the film deformation; temperature is too low will not dry ink completely, causing ink anti-stick. A variety of printing materials vary greatly in heat resistance, temperature settings should vary according to different materials, in actual production, such as PVC film, the drying temperature is generally 40-55 ℃, while the BOPP film can be 60-75 .

In actual production, the drying temperature can generally be set according to the impact of factors such as printing speed, the overall amount of ink on the product, whether the metal ink and film itself, heat shrinkage characteristics, by the factors above, we can determine a suitable drying temperature.
 

2, tension

General unit gravure press has four tension control, namely: unwinding tension, feed tension, tension and winding tension. Tension control of film printing is more important than paper.
 
Tension adjustment should be set upon the type of film and tensile strength, such as CPP, PE tensile strength is weak, the film is easy to stretch deformation, so the tension should be smaller, while for PVC, BOPP and other tensile strength Strong film, the tension can be a bit larger.
 
In addition, the width and thickness of the film are also important factors in determining the magnitude of the tension when the film type is constant. The wide film should be larger than the narrow film, and the thicker film is larger than the thin film.
 

3, the pressure on impression cylinder and plate cylinder

According to the thickness of printing materials to set the appropriate pressure, the general thickness of the larger, the greater the printing pressure are required.
 

4, plate cylinder circumference and imprint cylinder diameter

According to the printing process to set the appropriate pressure, generally the greater the thickness, the greater the printing pressure are required.
 

5, Set the winding tension change curve

In the printing process, the winding tension is reduced with the winding diameter increases, in order to achieve better winding quality, the current package gravure roll winding tension changes in the curve which should be operated by operator. So it is important to set a suitable tension variation curve. General can be stored in the host a few commonly used curves, which make it easy to use when producing.

6, the color balance roller position zero
